  • You could register at the job centre about 3 months before they start taking on. They like to have their staffed fully trained by the time the new store opens.

Tesco recently took over a local store and did all the recruitment through Jobcentre
  • My town recently opened 2 small Tesco Metro stores and for both they advetised in one of the other Extra stores (by customer services) and in the window of the new store that was being done up.

Ask in customer services of your local store that is open in the area, they should know.

    Get in there quick!!!

If you are unemployed they may run pre employment courses with guaranteed interviews

if they have a lot of vacancies they may have an open day.

ask at your local Jobcentreplus office about Tesco Vacancies. Sometimes they have a special office or team dealing with them.
