Npower unfair tariff
I just phoned Npower about their winter warmer tariff for low income families. To qualify for the lower tarrif you have to be in certain circumstances, ours is children under 16, and be on an income of under 13,500. Our income is 14,200 so we don't qualify but the reason our income is this is because we get child benefit and child tax credits for 3 children. So does that mean that families with 1 or 2 children get help and those with more don't? How is that fair? Any ideas of who to contact?

Theres really no one you can contact as its their terms for that particular tarriff. You need to find a supplier who meets your particular circumstances to benefit. However if you are looking to save money, consider all options not just those you think should be the cheapest."Self trained industry expert who has worked in Electricty Distribution, Electricity & Gas Supply and currently works as an independent consultant in industry processes to particapants in the industry" :eek:0 -
