  • i believe all goods are sold as scrap and are untested - so if you dont know what you are doing with electricals, steer clear - with regards to clothing and bric a brac - not so much of an issue.

I'm sure this auction featured in a documentary about lost luggage for sale.If so,this auction house gets all the luggage from heathrow/Gatwick.I remember people paying £10.00 for one full of designer 'holiday' gear......:j

Don't waste your time. Worst in London.Went last week and most stuff went for the same if not more than the high street. PM me and I will give details of better auctions.

Ive read a few things about greasbys lost luggage stuff too. They also clear out items from bust businesses, we know this as we found an item my freind had maufacctured on the pics on the internet.

Ive neve rbeen either, personally I cant see the point, I have a houseful of carp I dont need- but would like to go one day for fun!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

The problem with the lost luggage is you can't see what's in the cases before you buy (unless it's changed its policy) so it's a lucky dip, you might get a result, you might not.
It doesn't seem the best auction for other stuff, but I went a couple of times as I was after a cash register for my business. Obviously it's not the sort of thing that many bid for so got a great deal, worked fine and has been for several years now. Saved myself a lot of money. Always a gamble like any auction though.
If you're after electrical items etc there are better ones around.

How is a thread about an auction house, on the Ebay, AUCTIONS, Car Boot & Jumbles Sales board in the wrong place?
