Divorce headache!!

My brother in law is going through a very messy ordeal at the moment. He has just divorced his ex wife and now she is claiming that she wants half of his house that he has bought co - ownership with his father. She has already cleared out their joint savings account and will not stop at anything. However we know for a fact that she has property back at her dads city. Is there anyway we can prove this to show that she is a money grabbing b****!! ( sorry for bad language )

He needs to get himself legal representation pretty sharpish if he hasnt already!

Is there some sort of a register as to who owns properties - ie. landlords - council tax? If so contact the local council where the ex supposably has a property and see what they can do.

Perhaps get in touch with your local Citizens Advice Bureau and see what they say.

Are bills etc in your brother in laws name or his ex wifes? Could your brother in law maybe not sign his half of the house over to your dad until it all blows over? Be down right sneaky if she is!
