I have an excellent client story but unfortunately it's not suitable for on here.
Maybe I will email it to you. You will laugh yourself silly.

Sadly, it's not me.
I often get asked when I turn up at a clients house "so who's the 'good looking' one on the front of your website?"
Charming I think to myself.
Not brave enought to subject the general public to a photo of me on the front page, being a Phil Mitchell lookalike and all.

Funny clients, well there's a thought.
I got into a "telephone relationship" when I very first started work in the industry with a girl who I spoke with daily, nothing too serious just a bit of fun and a way to pass the day.
We met up through a work function and she was, well, not quite as I had pictured. But all the same the flirting carried on for a couple of days and she got a bit close to the edge for a young Mortgage arranger. I then got some rather lewd letters suggesting things we could get up to and where we could go to carry these things out.
Scared wittless at 21! I've never flirted over the phone, or on email since! :rotfl:0 -
You should have a try barney its good fun!
I have a collection of business partnership managers across all the lenders, and all the male ones jump through hoops for me. I actually managed to get a declined case accepted with first active last week, god knows how I did that as they are usually pretty tight!
At xmas, I got presents galore from lenders, wine chocs two nights in a hotel (not yet used!) flowers and even a digital radio.
I'm proof of the pudding, it pays to flirt. :A
Andy, if u really do look like Phil Mitchell then its only fair I tell you that I look like Connie from Holby City, but a bit younger (by about 15 years!)I am a Mortgage Adviser

Who's connie?
I don't watch Holby City.
Thing is there is a difference between friendly banter and outright sexual harrasment.
The way I am with clients is very open, relaxed (if visiting a client in the evening for example I never wear a suit, just smart casual. Always been very well received by clients), polite and sometimes a little flirty, but only in a very fun way once the client has relaxed a little.
It must work as I generally sign up 8 out of every 10 I sit in front of. Mind you I am just such a nice guy.0 -
Thats a bloody good conversion rate.
I don't do much face to facebut when I do its nice. nice to put a face to a name, only been a broker now for 7 months but was a paraplanner for an IFA before that.

Aha,
Can't watch it Tuesday, am staying overnight at a conference in Lichfield. Doubt I will be finished in time.
Might try and grab some reruns on BBC3,4 etc
Lost, 24, Invasion are all my faves currently.

I wish had time to watch the telly, I'm lucky if I can fit eastenders in once a week!
I spent ages watching most haunted before I realised that I was NEVER actually going to see anything and they spend all their time screaming and grabbing eachother. funny though.
Now I spend most of my time working, running or on this site - its addictive, I'm a real sucker for those in need. Business partner says I should stop being so nice and be a ruthless saleswoman but it doesn't work for me.I am a Mortgage Adviser
