The Prize Draw Rules
1. The prize is for one or two people and based on two people sharing a twin or double room‚ for any holiday featured in the Grand UK holidays 2009 brochure up to the value of £1‚000.
2. The closing date for the Free Prize Draw is 31st March 2009.
3. No purchase necessary. There is no requirement to complete the section relating to renewal dates.
4. The winner will be required to pay any additional costs in excess of the £1‚000 prize.
5. All holidays are subject to availability at the time of booking and no reduction will be made‚ other than those detailed in the brochure‚ for any part of the holiday or services not taken.
6. It is a condition of booking a Grand UK holiday that you are adequately insured.
7. Entry to the Free Prize Draw is open to UK residents over 18 years only.
8. Participants must have a full postal address to participate.
9. Entries not submitted in accordance with the rules‚ illegible‚ incomplete or altered will be disqualified.
10. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of delivery.
11. The entry instructions form part of these rules.
12. It is a condition of entry that the winner’s name will be used for promotional purposes. This will only be in summary e.g. Mrs Smith from Surrey.
13. Only one entry per person.
14. Employees or family members of employees of Age Concern Enterprises Limited or any person directly or indirectly involved in the organisation or running of the prize draw or their direct family members‚ are not eligible for entry into the competition.
15. One winner will win a prize of a holiday up to the value of £1‚000.00 and no interest is payable.
16. Cash alternative available up to the value of £1‚000 and no interest is payable. The prize is not transferable.
17. The draw will take place on 15th April 2009. The winner will be chosen at random from all proper entries received by the closing date by an independent adjudicator whose decision shall be final.
18. Notification of winning: The winner will be notified by 13th May 2009.
19. The name and county of the winner will be available by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Age Concern Enterprises‚
Marketing Department £1‚000 Prize‚ 3–10 Melton St. London NW1 2EB.
20. The promoter of the Free Prize Draw is Gordon Morris‚ Age Concern Enterprises‚Walkden House‚ 3–10 Melton St‚ London NW1 2EB.
21. The decision of the promoter is final.
22. If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made by the promoter to contact the winner then he will be entitled to dispose of the prize as he thinks fit without any liability to the winner for having done so.
A period of one month will be allowed after notification to the supplied contact details for the winner to claim the prize. The holiday must be booked by 30th September 2009.
