Evening,
About 8 months i applied of for a First Direct account was declined straight decline letter. I applied again last week and they sent me a pre filled application form to sign and asked for ID. Does that mean i have been approved?
I know many banks processes vary
Many thanks for your help

You've been approved, subject to further checks. You can always call on 0800 24 24 24, give a few details and ask if the app has been accepted or declined. When I called, they told me a few provisional details, like my credit card limit and my OD limit.0

I imagine checking another Credit reference agency. Some lenders search Experian or Equifax first and then when they receive the relevant paperwork, they do another search with a different agency or perhaps all three (Callcredit) as often each of those agencies will have information that others don't have.0 -

Don't think so, when I called and asked they said the credit check had already been done.
I once got rejected by them, after receiving the form and getting prov. limits, on the basis that I'd applied in the previous 6 months. That might be one of the final checks.
All this said, absolutely loving FD.0 -
