Graphic Card advice

Hi all

I have a Dell dimension 2400 with 512mb RAM and would like advice on what's the suitable card to upgrade with.

I currently have an Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphic Controller and assume that it's an on-board variant.

Not sure what slots I have in terms of it being a PCI or PCI-e. perhaps others who have a Dimension 2400 could enlighten me on this.

Once someone determines what the best card to get then perhaps the most appropriate site to get it from?

the mother board has only three PCI slots and No AGP port is available(usual slot dedicated for graphics cards) meaning that you will have to settle for the built-in Intel Extreme graphics, which are fine for normal usage, but cannot handle 3D games it might be possible to buy a low-end 3D graphics card to fit a PCI slot, though they can be hard to find, not as up to date as you may require and it may be expensive

The Geforce FX 5500 PCI is a good choice for Dell 2400 or Dell 3000 upgrades.
