Gas escape insurance
My Mother received a phone call today from Severn Trent offering an insurance if there was a gas escape. She said if there was she would phone Transco. Severn Trent said that they would only do repairs up to the value of £4.70 or some amount like that less then £5. Mother said no she wasn't interested.
I use to work as a call handler for Transco and this information form Severn Trent is a lot of b!!!!!!. If you're meter is not owned by Transco yes there is a limit, but if there is a safety risk they will make it safe no matter who owns the meter.
