Hi, I have posted this on the Freebie forum but thought i would put it here too.
I just got Registry Mechanic 8 for free if anyone is interested. I know some people don't like registry cleaners but i find this one quite good. Click on this link to download the free trial (it will only repair a certain number of problems) and when you go to uninstall it, a box will pop up telling you how to get it for free.

All you have to do then is choose a free trial of certain sites and companies (they have 'love film' and 'e-music' etc) and once you sign up they send you the registration key. I did this with e-music where you get 25 free downloads and then i cancelled the same day!
Hope this helps.:p
P.S. Apologies if this has been posted before!!

To be fair. If i was trying a cleaner out, id expect that option to be TURNED OFF by default!:idea:0 -
Does this program do the same as ccleaner?Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0

Its not turned on you have to tick internet explorer but then you have to untick bookmarks. But people don't press the little + sign to see. It is a bit silly why would i want to clean my bookmarks anyway
It cleans out my junk than CCleaner. 0 -
which is better
Comodos new system cleaner or the ccleaner that i am using now?
And what is the difference?
PLease
Thanks NiallSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
Wow - I didn't know Registry Mechanic was still going! I thought it was great with Windows 98. Windows XP (and, I presume, 2000 and Vista) seem to manage the registry much better, and I've never needed to use a registry cleaner.
I wouldn't generally recommend a registry cleaner with these newer OSes.0
