I had a lightbulb moment just now that I need to do little and often with the cleaning to prevent 'crazy whole flat panic cleaning'.

We have a name for that it's CHAOS = Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome :D plenty of us have it, you are in the right place.

Flower I am not surprised you are angry on your mum's behalf. I [strike]would be[/strike] am too. Some people have no idea or common courtesy. Make sure she has a note of his registration and get a description of the driver then if there are any problems when he comes back she will have the info the police need, if he frightens your mum with his behaviour he could be committing common assault. Make sure she is not alone if she has to approach him.

My list so far, yes I chopped out everything I def wasn't going to do, just went to level 2 - but that does make a difference. (Also really ok in terms of PACE for ME, ie every activity has a cost, for example washing pots = 5p I have x amount to spend in terms of energy and I have to have change left at the end of the day)

Would probably have done more but friend was round for 2hrs this pm and hadn't seen her for ages

  • You weren't messing anything up, sorry if I made you feel like you were, it's just we had similar with Mudbath a while back and we sussed what it was then (but then she can be a pest some times and I'm sure she did it on purpose... :rotfl: :rotfl: )
It just if you have a long signature with no spaces, the thread thinks it's one word and shows it as such - you didn't need to change it, just put a space in... I hope you didn't think I was having a go or anything, I wouldn't do that...:o

no i didnt think you was having a go, glad you pointed it out otherwise i wouldnt of realised it had anything to do with my sig...
i had taken out the spaces as i didnt have the room, so sorted it now! i can go on a bit to much and do in my sig!!:D

Well for the flying front i havent done any more as ive had school run etc, was going to go to tesco but friends little girl feel over and hurt herself really bad so we waited and dropped her home bless her. Then couldnt be bothered to head round tesco!! :o so dinner will have to be whatever i can get out of the freezer....... But as i havent been to tesco it will give me some more time to do the rest of my list! might even sort out the cupboard while dinner is cooking - multi tasking :D

    Afternoon all

Not a particularly successful day in the dusty household, nothing major, just nothing going to plan, oh well.

Natty - I know it is disappointing re the birds but if you don't really get bluetits and you had yesterday that could on a grand scale affect the results so maybe it is just as well he choose today to pay you a visit

TAG - hope OH interview went well

    Rach Happy Anniversary

Toots thanks for the gentle ebay prods - I have a bid on one of my items already and quite a few watchers on various items

LL welcome on surviving your scan hun

FF I hate inconsiderate parking. I hope your mum has not been too inconvenienced

Vanilla - hope you're doing ok hun

Right, I need to unpack the rest of the shopping and then decide on a bit of a plan of action.

Thanks, sometimes you feel like you're ranting at the world in general and I wondered if it was just me...
The police actually came round to see her, so they have his reg/details of his car and know where he lives, although obviously he's not there at the moment... they have told her to take her mobile out with her when she approaches him and if he gives her grief to ring them and they will be straight out... they were actually quite good, apart from the fact that they wouldn't move the car...

    ***Rant alert***

I want to go round and ram him out of the way, but Mum says no... She won't let me wait round there for him either - I don't want her to be alone when she faces him (aparently he is a young guy, music blaring when he pulled up, she is 67)
What an ignorant !!!!!!! Dont ram him out of the way, a nice key mark down the side of his car or a wing mirror missing may deter him from doing it again though:p
