I've had enough of ironing for now - just doing tea and then I'll bath DS. DD was told this morning before DH went to work that if there was anything left on her bedroom floor when he got home tomorrow night, he was putting it all in the bin! She hasn't touched her room and when I've asked her to do it she says she's not doing it on her own. I haven't had time to help her today and TBH DH and I always end up tidying it and within a few days it's as bad as ever. Any ideas? She's 7 for those who don't know.

Hope she likes them, I'm no seamstress, but can sew IYKWIM, but my own stuff I usually just bodge together, had to take my time with these a bit more...:o

Mind you, I sewed them together once, then had to undo it all and redo as put the wadding on the wrong side so it was outside when I turned it inside out... I was not happy... But had to laugh:rotfl:

So, going to have a sandwich now, am starving... DS has just gone out but it has stopped snowing now (started falling really heavily and settling, still there a bit, but not as much and can see the path) little flurries at the moment but nothing hard or fast... So when I get up in the morning it will be white - it always does it of a night...

sorry pigpen, can't help with that...

    :bdaycake: Happy birthday jjef !:bdaycake:

Had to go pick the boys up from station 30 mins away as they missed the connecting train last night. Very tired today! The did very well on the games exchange, getting about £100 between them and bought games and also replaced all the films that we had on video with DVD's.

I seem to have spent most of the day either cooking or planning lessons, and am now cross eyed from too long on the pc...off to have a cup of tea, and then do a bit of knitting.

We've had snow here on and off since lunchtime, and there is apparently even more forescast overnight and then tomorrow - really don't know what to do about work. If I don't go, then I won't get paid obviously, but it is a route that is prone to cross winds, so drifting heavy snow will be a nightmare.

I failed in my mission to declutter two bags of magazines today, as the collector postponed due to the snow!
