I am currently working in spain.
I now need to open up a UK bank account while I am in spain. I suppose my mum could help.
All I have is drivers license and bills though. Whats the easy option is there something I can do online?
Thankl for any help

Are you planning to move to the UK in the next 3 months? If so, HSBC can help you out with a passport account but it costs £6 per month.
To open a current account, even a basic one, you need to be a permanent UK resident
(ie: you need a UK address that you can provide proof of, at least) Kavanne

Do you have an address in the UK you can provide for the bank and that you can prove?doublewhammy wrote: »I am a uk resident born and bred just not there at the moment. so what is the best option?
PS Being a resident and a citizen are 2 different things. Atm you are a British citizen but a Spanish resident.Kavanne
