No output from Power Shower and no Pump

I know that the Mira PP3 and Excel are a decent system and having recently spent more than we should have on a new kitchen and bathrooms we are keen to keep it going a bit longer.

We are now able to use it by having the control dial set on 0 when turning and then gradually moving up to the desired temparature.

Our plumber should be turning up sometime soon to look at replacing 3 radiators so I will ask if he can give it a bit of an overhaul. To be honest as well as the noisy drip the control panel itself is a bit the worse for wear and the front section is a bit wobbly. It wouldn't surprise me if there had been a drrt accumulation.

I normally do get hold of appliances, parts etc myself rather than relying on tradesman to do another mark-up on them so thanks for the advice re. Plumb Center's prices.

We have a power shower with a pump in our airing cupboard and the instructions with the pump said to leave the shower running on "full hot" for a few minutes with the pump switched off if you get an airlock.

You should find a power switch or a RCB in the airing cupboard if the pump is in there.

Do you know of any filters to filter out the chlorine and other chemicals in water that can be used on mira showers?
