Deleting Internet Explorer Search items

Options
Hi

Just a quick stupid question, on IE whenever i go into Google, or Msn or yahoo search or anything like that, as soon as i type in the first letter of what i want to search for i get a huge list of what ive previously searched for, which is a little annoying.
Does anyone know of a way to get rid of it so i dont get that stupid drop down list everytime. Ive deleted my cookies and temp internet files but still get it .

Cheers

    Try this https://www.ccleaner.com

    Just tick AutoComplete Form History.

    Or

Internet Options, Content, Autocomplete, Clear Forms.

If you go to tools>internet options>content>autocomplete and uncheck the forms option and then clear forms they should be gone.HTH

I wouldnt untick Forms as they can be very handy at times.

click on the word google on your toolbar and click "clear search history" easy peasy:D:D shour work with the rest of them as well

  • And to delete individual entries, go to Google etc., retrieve the search term by pressing the first letter, highlight the required search term in the dropdown box and press Shift+Delete.
