http://www.visitliverpool.com/ Take a look on there for attractions and things!
If u have a head for heights and depending on the time u arrive on the sunday id suggest a tour of the radio city tower...its 2 radio stations... 450 foot in the air.......... but spectacular views of the city... you have to book in advance though.. info on the site mentioned above!!
(to see what the tower looks like i.e. how it dwarfs everything take a look at this picture: http://jonathan.rawle.org/gallery/liverpool/view3 )0 -

Get an all zones trio ticket and you can use the bus train or ferry all day costs £3.70 for adults and £2 for children...great vaule when the ferry alone costs £4 for a round trip.
Get the ferry over to seacome then walk along to New Brighton...about a 45min nice walk along the seafront, there is a small funfair to keep the kids happy, and also New brighton fort....then you can jump the undergroud train back to Liverpool city centre.
The All zones ticket can also be used to get to Southport.....Have fun....0 -

great!! keep meaning to go (am only in manchester so it's not exactly a long way!) - maybe this weekend..... if it doesn't rain!:happyhear0 -
I thought the Antony Gormley sculptures were an amazing sight, as they stretch out far into the distance. I found out the low tide time before my visit.
The experience was only spoiled (ruined) by the inconsiderate dog walkers who fail to pick up their dog's poo. So, you might want to watch where you're walking on the path to the beach.;)10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j [/COLOR]:cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. We went to visit crosby beach this weekend, what an amazing experience! The weather was very misty and cold but we walked along the beach the kids loved it running along the beach and sand dunes and my husband took lots of photos and I found it very calming the statues are brilliant, a very surreal experience. We are going to go again in summer, its not a bathing beach but well worth a visit and plenty of parking we parked at a leisure centre where there is a cafe and toilets. Afterwards we went into crosby town centre not very big but we went to macdonalds for our dinner.
Thankyou for recommending this place.0 -
