Newquay Airport - car hire & hotel

We are travelling down to Cornwall in the spring with the kids. The flight lands well after bed time for the youngest and we are looking for a local motel / lodge / B&B to arrive at after 10pm for our first night, some where within a short (Cab) ride of the airport....... has anyone any recommendations??
I am also having problems getting any car hire........ everyone seems closed at that time of night (hence the cab) and on the next day - Sunday.

If anyone can offer some pointers I would be very grateful..

Daughter took a 40minute cab ride from Newquay Airport last Monday at about 11 a.m. and was charged £40. Make sure you check cab fare before journey.

There is a bus leaves the airport after the Ryanair flight and takes you to Newquay. See timetable here. http://www.summercourttravel.com/910.pdf

I don't know how much a taxi is to Newquay itself but you can try phoning one of the hotels above and ask for a local taxi number.

There is a pub / small hotel across the road about 400yds from the airport terminal but I can't recall its name. maybe someone else can help there
