I'm a FTB in central belt scotland, asking prices do seem to dropping (although not massively) but properties seem not to be moving. Alternatively, 'today's price' is the price the seller is prepared to sell at today. You know it was originally marketed at offers over £90k and now it is being offered at £77k fixed. You tried a lower price and, surprise surprise, it was rejected. That should give you a clue as to what 'today's price' is
