I am thinking about using this card for the cashback cos we are getting a new kitchen so we can save a lot. I just wanted to know if the cashback limit is £200 a year or what? We're spending about 10k so looking to get around £500 cashback. I can possibly do this if i get another card in someone elses name. Would that work?0

Hi Shadowspy
You say "we're spending about £10K" so you're not buying it on your own. You could buy part of the kitchen and whoever else the interested party is (partner/husband?) can apply for an Amex cashback card in their own right and do the same as you. Watch our for your credit limit though.
Good luck and enjoy your new kitchen!Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional
