What Benefits am I entitled to?

Just wanted to say that the dwp OFTEN get it wrong in my experience.
I know someone turned down for Housing benefit - told they were not eligible- and when I stepped in and supported this person the Housing dept have agreed WRONG info was given and it will be amended urgently!
This error nearly cost that person their life as they became even more seriously depressed over the debt that was accumulating for rent.
Don't accept a 'no' - check, check and check again.

Yes i am being treated by my GP and a psychiatrist,i also have a counselor at a diffrent hospital relating to another issue.

I have never been unsympathetic towards anyone with this sort of issue can you show me a post where i have been unsympathetic towards anyone with depression etc??

You really need to look at what you post. If you see nothing wrong with them, then I would genuinely encourage you to print off your posts and show them to your psychiatrist.

I think you should apply, if your doctors are happy to support you.

Your posts are so unsympathetic, I am still not sure if you are a troll. Have you read them? (Genuine question)

Or do you mean you are supportive only of people who've been through the same as you? Because I found your response to the OP on this thread less than sympathetic...

You come across very badly (imho)! Is that not your intention? Perhaps your writing style is not a true reflection of you as a person?

Damzel, it may be worth while applying for the DLA in your case. The worst that could happen is that your declined the benefit. It is a large document though, so ensure that you have someone to help you with it. I did and we will be sending it off ASAP.
