National Trust to offer allotments in some properties
I read in a national newspaper earlier this week that the National Trust are planning to allocate land on some of their properties for conversion to allotments so that local people can grow their own fruit and veg. If anybody is on the waiting list for an allotment and lives near a National Trust property, they may want to contact them to see whether there's a chance of obtaining one. There is a "Contact Us" facility on their website for making enquiries.
