Hi, I'm having a problem installing the printer drivers,
I've followed the step by step instructions from the cd rom, however it gets to a point when the printer and pc needs to be connected via usb before the printer is powered up.
The only problem is, the pc does not recognise the printer and I cannot proceed to the next step.
I've tried disabling windows and comodo firewall's in case this was having anything to do with it, but I still have the same problem.
any help please as I'm going out of my mind with this.

You've disconnected the power from the printer
You've installed the software
You've locked the lid, inserted the USB cable and threaded it throught the trench?
Did you insert the USB cable into the back of your lappie or into a USB hub of any kind? If you have inserted it into a hub, remove the cable and insert directly into the laptop's USB port. It won't be recognised otherwise
Once you have done that, plug the printer back in and turn it on0 -
Try a re boot and / or re-install / different USB Port....mine works fine, but I am on XP.
Good luck.0 -
Thanks to both, the usb is direct to laptop, as I don't have a hub of any kind.
I've done a system restore to before I'd tried installing this software and see if that works.
Strange this is, I've never experienced 'any' problems with installation of software/programmes in the past before this.
(I miss xp)0 -
