Clarissa, it is a very good idea to get someone to help you with the forms but also remember to think of your very, very worst day and describe that. I was turned down for a blue badge by Kirklees even though a friend who is a local social worker helped me fill the form in. My very helpful GP wasn't suprised as she says the form that she fills in is very yes/no/tick box. I did contact a helpline who were willing to help me appeal but I ran out of steam. I just found the details today and will let you have them if you are turned down.0
