Easyjet Car seat hold baggage

I apologise if this is elsewhere but I have searched and can't find this specific issue.
We normally travel with Ryanair and put our eldest son's booster car seat in one of our hold bags whilst checking in the youngest's big car seat as hold baggage. In the past we have had to pay for this.
This year we are travelling Luton-Bordeaux on Easyjet for the first time. Does anyone know their policy on car seats as HOLD BAGGAGE (there is a lot of information about car seats in the cabin but not in the hold)? Do they charge for car seats in the hold. My son will be just 3 by then so won't need it on the plane, but will in the hire car. Basically I need to know, should I book 3 items of hold baggage (2 bags and the seat) or can I just book 2?
Thanks a lot if anyone can help!

In case anyone is wondering...
Finally managed to get through to someone at Easyjet (by ignoring all the options until I got an advisor!)
He confirmed that I can check our carseat in for free in addition to our baggage allowance.

We put our boosters in a large holdall last year when flying Easjet. I spoke to them twice in Bristol as to whether they would carry them foc on the return journey in the hold (would need them on the way to airport so could not pack into holdall). Yes, they would they said. However, on said return journey, the overseas airport said that as they would have to print out a separate luggage tag, there would be an additional cost. Ten minutes later, we managed to squeeze them into our holdall - we were not paying an additional amount just because of a luggage sticker!0

I have an email from Easyjet too, so I'm going to print that out and take it with me, but thank you!
I want to be a customer experience champion.. it sounds dead exciting!

Dear Mr ******,
Thank you for contacting us.
I was glad to know that you plan to fly with us.
I am happy to confirm that pushchairs, prams, car seats and travel cots do not form part of your baggage allowance and therefore are carried for free. However, we do not offer a separate baggage allowance for infants.
Pushchairs, buggies, car seats and travel cots can be taken right up to the aircraft, where they will be taken by cabin crew and stored in the hold. However, if it would be easier for you, you can check it in with your baggage at check-in. Full sized, non-collapsible prams cannot be accepted for travel.
At some of our airports you may have to pick up your pushchair from baggage reclaim so please ask the Cabin Crew about your pushchair on arrival at your destination. They will be able to advise you on what happens at this airport.
More information about our baggage allowance can be found by clicking on the following link:

I do hope I have been able to answer your question fully, if you need any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us and we will be more then happy to assist you further.
Yours sincerely,
Saurabh Sudhir

I am so happy I saw this post. I am flying with Easyjet today and couldn't find out about this exact thing. I normally borrow a car seat from my friend when I go to Belfast, but as I bought a car last time I was there, I used it on the drive back to England. So I will be able to check it in today, for free!!! Very relieved.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

If the car seat is not going to be used in-flight, then it must be checked-in as hold baggage. Car seats, buggies, push chairs and travel cots are carried for free and do not make up part of your baggage allowance. Up to two of these items can be carried per infant or child.COMP WINS FOR HUBBY & I SINCE SEPTEMBER:2 £50 DOMINOS VOUCHERS, 13 PAIRS OF FOOTBALL TICKETS, MICROSOFT HOME EDTN, 2 PAIRS OF ALTON TOWERS TICKETS, 1 CASE OF PERCY PIGS, 1 PAIR OF LEATHER LADIES GLOVES, 4 COLLECTION 2000 PRODUCTS, PLAYSTATION 3 WITH FIFA 12, 5* HOTEL STAY IN LONDON, SEASON 6 OF SUPERNATURAL DVD, PERFECT PIZZA VOUCHER0 -
