Anyone out there offer any info please.
I have £2000 sat in Bank account doing nothing, earning no interest so I thought that I would have a dabble with shares.
Can anyone answer these questions???
Which share dealing service is the best. Have been looking at all the ones online. Minefield to understand.
I want to be able to trade online and by phone
I want to deal quite often (not planning on holding onto shares for years, as soon as they make a bit I want to sell)
What kind of account do I have to have?
Can I use a credit card to buy with?
How do I take out any profit I might make if it is held by a company?
Is it easy just to ring which ever company I join and tell them to buy/sell certain shares??
Can I buy and sell on a daily basis??
Thanks

I would Signupwith/use Hoodless Brennan. Their website and other threads answer all you questions.
In respect of the last question yes you can but you really won't be selling any time soon. IMO if you buy shares at this moment in time you will either lose money or will be leaving it there for quite a few years. Shares at the moment really are a 'long term' gamble/investment.

Hey,
Ive just started using the Halifax Sharebuilder. Trades start at just £1.50 so good for anyone starting out. Good luck.0 -
Before you do anything, buy "The Naked Trader 2" by Robbie Burns and read it. Imagining that you can just start "buying shares" with no experience and not make big losses is wishful thinking.Mmmm, credit crunch. Tasty.0
