Sainsburys Car Insurance

We took out car insurance with sainsburys online in november.I duly sent them our no claims proof and took a copy for my own records.3 weeks later we receive a letter claiming they haven't received it , so I fax a copy and send them a postal copy(i got proof of postage and have copy of the fax report)

Saturday we receive a letter dated the 25/01/2006 informing us that as of the 14/01/2006 our policy was cancelled :mad: as they hadn't received the no claims proof.
I rang them straight away and they wouldn't deal with me as my husband is the policy holder.I did point out that we had sent the no claims 3 times but they still refused to reinstate the policy.
I duly went out online and took out the post office insurance £150 cheaper(including the £50 cashback)

I still cant see how they cancelled the policy 11 days before they sent the letter out.I have just posted them copies of the fax reports and proof of posting with a snotty letter included.

What superb customer service.
