Syrups for coffee - where to buy?

Does anyone know where you buy the syrups that Starbucks, Costa etc use in their drinks? I'd love to get some vanilla and caramel for making my own drinks at home. I've looked in a few big supermarkets but I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to try next?

You can get them from Whittards if you have a store nearby or they have a web site.

Lots of places sell them online - there's hundreds of flavours :) A few to look at - Discount Coffee, Mr Creamy, Coffee Select. Just google coffee syrups and lots will come up.

As said above, Starbucks do sell them. Around £3.50 a bottle. Bit pricey but cheaper to make at home then always popping to starbucks. We make these at home now. Caramel macchiato is my fave. i tbsp of the caramel syrup and a drizzle of (ASDA) caramel/toffee sauce on top.

Smaller starbucks might not have them on display, ask them if you can't see them.

  • Starbucks sell the coffee in packets too and the syrup is well worth the money and lasts for ages.

  • You can buy the Costa Coffee Syrup sets made by Monin at costashop.co.uk , you can also buy tins of Costa Coffee Beans and Pre Ground Coffee as well, it does cost slightly more and there's a postage cost it means you can get you coffee fix at home without leaving home!
  • As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll move it to the Groceries board where you may get more replies :)

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I noticed some in Sainsburys at the weekend, but I wasn't paying attention to the price I'm afraid.
