Hi everyone,
I'm a bit of a newbie but will be starting to save my £2 coins from now on. Really need to save some cash - the hard part will be not dipping into the old piggy bank (when i say piggy bank i mean an empty 1 gallon Stalla Artois barrel!! - lets hope i can fill it !! )

I've been a bit lax with this lately (well by lately i mean for ages) so thought i'd come back with avengance (sp?) and start whittling away my £2 again. Don't ever seem to get any any more though, but thats probably because i flash the plastic everywhere i go instead of paying with notes!

Its been a bit slow for me lately - only 5 in the last 2 weeks...

Still, £10 is £10 and with Christmas getting closer, every little helps as Mr T would say!! :rolleyes:

Added another £18 to mine this morning. It's still not full and driving me insane wanting to open it. I was tempted today but DP stopped me and said he'd hide the tin opener if I try as he knows I have held out for so long.

Although I finished work on Wed (due to redundancy) :mad: and just before my 30th birthday - which was yesterday. I've still managed to collect another coin - and that was from getting sloshed last night :beer: at my local bar. I'm just starting to feel human again and now I need to cook Sunday dinner at 5pm
