Afternoon guys, started saving my £2 a couple of weeks ago. Not spending much atm (student at home for summer, few outgoings), but it should start climbing when I get back to uni :D
    This is getting addictive! :D:eek:

  • Had to give my mum change this morning so my poor little £2 piggy has a foreign body (a £10 note ) in his stomach where 5 £2 coins should be...
In theory this doesn't matter as its all going in the bank, but still!
Returning MoneySaver, now furiously saving for a house deposit...
  • Hi Nellis 10. Welcome! Congratulations on being a member of the £2 Savers Club:j
Just thought I'd let you know, the DFW Nerd numbers are an idea of Southernscousers - just put 'Nerds! How Rude!' into the search box at the top of this page. If you add yourself to his thread he will allocate you a number. He hasn't got 533 yet but I am sure he will do one day. Hope this helps. Good luck with the collecting:j

what a great day for £2 coins and then i came home!!!!

i managed to acquire £22 in coins today and so came home gloating, but the holiday queen exchanged £12 worth coz she's not had none for ages!!!

pah!! and like moneysavingsapphire, i now have a £10 in my terramundi, but at least the cash is in and it takes up less room then the 5 coins, so it means i can fit more golden nuggets in before i have to crack it open!!!!
