    Can I join please?

I have been reading this thread for a few weeks. Just as I was wondering what I could save my £2 coins in a colleague brought some biscuits in in a lovely, plain gold tin. (I can't say I've seen one like it before but, then again, I never buy expensive tins of biscuits!) Once the biscuits were finished I quickly acquired the tin. I have put a money hole in the lid and sealed the tin up to stop members of my family borrowing from it. I have called it my 'Pot of Gold.'

I have been totally inspired by everyone who has contributed to this thread and also by another colleague who I knew used to save £2 coins. She told me that when she cashed hers in she had £930. Whow!!!

What am I saving for? Well one half of me says the money is going to go to reducing the mortgage but the other half of me says it is going to be used for family treats, so anything could happen with it.

    Kind regards
