I have just bought a premium bond on line so am down to £2 in the pot.
I am going to take my £100 worth of coins to pay into my bank account, I am expecting a bit of trouble doing that because they can't be bothered counting or getting their hands dirty.
We are sick of them anyway so if they start I will tell them I am leaving them!!

    Another one for me today!
  • Most building societies will accept 5 bags of coins (5 bags of £2 coins + £1oo :0)
Banks should normally accept what you pay in - or mine have up till now as long as it is bagged correctly - they should give you bags if you ask.
    Good luck with the bond!
  • another 3 added yesterday, now up to £36 :-)
