Last night I went out for dinner with a friend who was paying, and he got two £2 coins in his change - so i asked if I could swap them as i was collecting them! He thinks I'm mad! But now I have £14!!

:j Woohoo, lots of new members! :j

I'm up to £34 now, £2 kindly donated by my mum! She got given it in change and says she can't bring herself to spend them now because of my influence :rotfl: She refused to let me pay her for it though which was very kind!!

I've deposited £30 in my savings account now, can't wait until the end of the month to earn some interest on it (pennies I expect :rotfl:). I have opened a separate ING account alongside my normal one to keep my £2 coin savings separate so that I can see exactly how much interest I've earned on them alone and add it to my sig, sad or what?! :rotfl:

    Happy collecting everyone! :D

I would say that is great idea it will give people like me a chance to see what the benefits are of banking them as opposed to saving them in a plastic bin like me.

Keep us all up to date. Might be handy to note down the intrest rate you have for that account for comparison.
