I`ve just had my new HP photosmart C7280 printer set up

Just thought I`l tell you all I love it, :j you all gave me lots of advice when I was deciding to buy this printer, its been sat in the back bedroom for 2 weeks and the bloke (computer engineer) round the corner has just come and set it up to run with my desktop and daughters laptop. The quality of the photo`s is amazing (better than Tesco!!).

Just hunting now for the best prices to buy in some ink (to have in stock), I`ll be trying all the suggestions you made to get prices and any more links would be appreciated.

Many thanks. :T

Glad that you are happy with the printer, I have had no problems with mine.
Still on first set of carts although they are getting low now, so looks like its time to start looking for bargains !!

Hopefully we can find some bargains between us! I don`t want to spend lots but the bloke that installed it did say I should if possible us originals at least for the first 12 months.

If you go back to your original thread you may find that I suggested going to 7 Day shop, if you go for the XL black cartridge and triple pack colour ones you can save some cash.
    These are genuine cartridges mind.

Thanks penrhyn, I`d kept that site on my favourites from last time you recommeded it. Their prices are really good.
    Thanks again.
  • For that printer - you will need a HP 363 Cartridge

Your printer will come with hardly any! XL Cartridges of 363 are very good value for money.

363 Standard Cartridge - Current retail price is around £8.00 per colour.

If you buy a pack with all six colours (roughly £32), and pack includes 100 sheets of HP glossy paper this works out at £5 each - with free paper!

Buying online will be cheaper, stocking up works out cheaper in the long run. If buying online - InkClub sell the HP 363 cartridge and multipack you need - buy through Quidco to get a welcome bonus or discount!

    Good luck.
    Happy New Year!

    Thanks I`ll take a look.

I`m sure I read that buying the ink in a pack rather than individual ones means there is not as much ink in the cartridges, is this right? just want to get tghe best deal.

Please can anyone tell me how much ink you get in each cartridge with the HP photo value pack (the one with 6 cartridges and paper) just wondering how the ink compared to individual ones

    Thanks

If its the one with 150 sheets of paper then the amount of ink has been adjusted so there is enough for the supplied paper.

Thanks, problem is they don`t tell you how much ink so you can compare it to a single cartridge. Think I may get one just for the paper and to keep the cartridges in case of an emergency, I`m sure if they are sealed the shelf life will be quite good.

    Thanks again for the reply
