Air miles/other bonus points with credit cards?

Options
I'm using my Barclaycard quite a bit these days and am wondering if I'm using the best card to get the benefits I'm looking for.
I'm using it as a charge card - I pay off the balance in full each month.
I know I get nectar points with my Barclaycard but are there any other cards out there which will earn me lots of airmiles or other travel vouchers (airlines/hotels).
Thanks
Steven

See the article on the main site comparing credit card reward schemes.

Either the American Express British Airways card, where you get 1.5 BA miles for every £1 you spend.

Otherwise, the Tesco credit card will give you clubcard points every time you spend. If you sign up to the Air Miles website and select the option to have your Tesco Clubcard points automatically converted to Airmiles every quarter, you'll soon build up a healthy reserve.

Tesco Clubcards can be converted to 4 times their face value when turned into Air Miles. Also, if you pay for your Tesco food shopping on your Tesco card you get double clubcard points. Even filling up at a Tesco fuel station can earn you lots of points. Also if you take out Tesco insurance online and pay with your Tesco card, you'll not only get the clubcard points, but also 10% off!

Remember if you have an Amex credit card, you can get the BA Premier Plus card (the one giving 1.5 miles per £1 spent) at a reduced annual fee.

Also BMI have a credit card with MBNA and you get 20,000 free miles for joining.

  • Co-op Bank's Travel credit card gives you effectively 1% in Travel reward points which you can use to pay for flights, holidays, etc from Co-op Travelcare Direct.

Plus they even pay out on balance transfers!!

A 7 month 0% deal is there for the taking on their web site!
