Advice re Barclaycard Please

My partner's son has moved abroad some 3 years ago and has left a hefty balance left on his Barclaycard, some £5000 he has paid a few months off but Barclaycard are now phoning the house and her place of employment bothing her trying to get hold of him.
We have passed on his new address and phone number but Barclaycard keep phoning any suggestions we have notified Barclaycard in writing that we are not responsible for him.

Thanks in advance vw

This looks like Barclaycard have sold the debt to some debt collection agency. In this case there is no point in contacting Barclaycard.

If you are sure that calls come from Barclaycard, send one more letter to
Barclaycard,
Customer Relations Department,
1234 Pavilion Drive,
Northampton,
NN4 7SG

If this does not help, complain to

Financial Ombudsman Service
South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall,
London E14 9SR
Telephone: 0845 080 1800
E-mail: enquiries@financial-ombudsman.org.uk

If I am right and the debt was sold to a debt collection agency, look for advice how to deal with DCA on the Debt-Free Wannabe board.
