can you make a backdated claim for working families tax credit?

Hi sorry if this has been asked or answered elsewhere (I did look through the threads), but since I heard about the 2002/20003 childrens tax credit (and plan to send my form in on Monday!) it struck me that for probably 4 years we never claimed working family tax credit, because we didn't realise we would be eligible. We have had it now for the last two years. I had thought that I had missed the boat on this but maybe it is possible to claim this retrospectively as well???
Does anyone know? I went to entitledto.com but couldn't find a search facility on their site.

thanks for letting me know, Pam, it seemed a long shot, but I thought 'why not' when I saw the childrens tax credit window for claiming.
