Movie2u.com RIP OFF DVDS

I purchased 3 dvd's from Movie2u.com for $9 each plus p&p at about $6 when I recieved them they were of very poor quality and two were in chinese or some other lanuage. I contacted the company asking for a refund or exchange, their reply was i should have bought the $9.90 version which is top quality, poor quality is expected with the $9 version. I replied saying they should not knowingly be selling poor quality products and they are not fit for the purpose they were bought for so I want a full refund. they are still standing by their original reply, that they will not be refunded or exchanged.
I believe these are pirate dvd's and I probably don't have a leg to stand on, can anyone help.
PLEASE don't use this company.

2 of which have only just come out over here at the cinema.

Didn't that set any alarm bells ringing?

Yes, but a lot of countries have movies on dvd released before the UK and and one is on dvd release here this month. Whether I had alarm bells ringing or not, I would like helpful comments, please.

Well you say that which is quite correct but you obviously didn't check.

Others would of shopped around to compare prices as well but I guess you didn't do that either otherwise u might of actually noticed no one else was selling them.

It quite obvious you have brought copies but as its not even a British site im not sure what you can do exactly in terms of getting them shut down.

Even if you paid by a credit card I doubt they would be interested unless you spent over £100 with them.
