Options
This morning for the first time I have been unable to send e-ails.I am getting this message

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was *************. Subject '', Account: 'pop.wanadoo.co.uk', Server: 'smtp.wanadoo.co.uk', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 <****************>: Recipient address rejected: Access denied', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 554, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

I can get incoming e-mails but that is all.

Can anyone please help ?

Did the e-mail have an attachment..

Delete the email that is trying to send each time, from Outbox.

I got your PM, It maybe a fault there end or your smtp setting.

I would go to the wanadoo website and find thier settings and just check that
and also after that I would go back to Tools Accounts in Outlook Express and
click on export then export those settings to a folder "My Documents" and if
you ever get that problem again you can always Import them via Tools Accounts from OE.

Gotta dash baby having Jabs now....

Try this Tools, Accounts, Properties, Servers, tick 'My server requires authentication'

    ;)

See if you can log into your mail to rule out Password or Username error. http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/

    Hi again.
No problems sending e-mails from wanadoo homepage.I have been doing this today so I can keep on top of things.
I have outlook express which I use and also Microsoft office outlook which I don't . Could it be because of that . ( can't send e-mails on either as have now tried )

Just make sure your firewall is allowed to send emails.

Has a setting that allows pop email been changed at wanadoo. (check account settings)

Also if you dont use Outlook just remove it from add/remove programs
find Office click on change/remove and remove when asked if you want to
    make changes...
