Actually Osborne and Mandelson don't get along after Matt Rothchild sold him out. What else do you expect from a fund manager?

I think they are licking their wounds inactive and getting ready to visit Zimbabwe. It is a shame that Mugabe does not have any money. He could have invested it by getting Lloyds TSB to break the sanctions just like in the States.

I wish! Not all of us get huge bonuses!

I am proud to work for Barclays and yet I don't have any say on what the actual Company does. I work to my contract and serve the general public with their banking needs ~ thought that was what people needed?

Surely if you don't like a particular Company, you steer clear of them and don't buy shares in them?

I stay away from Barclays for a whole list of reasons.

Getting back to the banking side serving the customers what they need in banks usually means debt and products which are not suitable for them. The banks have gotten themselves into something which they cannot get out of. It is about time the bankers were punished.

It's good to know that people are proud to work for banks. The sector with a few exceptions for example Co-op have brought this country to it's knees by all their dodgey dealings. Barclays were so smug now it is time for Darling to give them a good kicking. At least the other banks not in trouble like HSBC are not smug about this. At least HSBC are getting on with banking and not telling everyone how wonderful they are.

What happened to the Arab backers? Did they realise what a bank looks like.

Such a nice person you are, they get a good kicking and people could lose their jobs. That is something to brag about isn't it? Wanting a company to take a good kicking with the potential that it could cost more people their jobs. And you call Barclays for not being ethical...
