Credit Card Contracts

I an new to this forum, i was wondering if anyone can shed some light on some information i have recently heard? this being, if the credit card company you originally signed a contract with, to open the credit card, no longer have a signed copy of it can they legally make you pay back the credit card debt.   • There are a lot of threads on this subject if you look further down the board. Are you one of those people who max out their card spending the money on holidays abroad, plasma tvs, designer clothes etc then decide i dont want to pay this back and so get all that for free?
