You are a hard person to contact - unable to PM you due to your profile settings. Anyway, as you are a big fan of IT's I thought I would ask your opinion.
Have made the decision to move my long-term UT / OIEC investments into comparable IT's. Principle reason behind this is for ease of trading into / out of. Like you I feel there are probably corrections on the horizon so want to know I have the ability to easily trade.
Back to my question, are you aware of any IT's that are focussed on commodities/resources? I have investments with JPMF Resources and Merrill Lynch Gold. Unfortunately TrustNet (or rather the AITC) do not have a category for these resources.
So, do you have any thoughts. You can PM me if you have any views
Thanks cloud_dog

Hi, cloud_dog
You can search for specific sector trusts on the AITC site. There are two resources based ITs.0 -
One that I know of is Merryl Lynch World Mining, there may be others:j The £2 CSC = £48 in carton£100 banked Mar 06V-Free : 4 weeks

Thanks for the posts guys. I stand corrected. Stupidly I left the TrustNet criteria as "TrustNet Sectors", changing it to "AITC Sectors" does show "Mining and Natural Resources" - doh.

Yep invested in the Merrill lynch world mining, and Barings Emerging Europe.. since that is MOSTLY - 50% invested in Russia and there more so in its resources.
Another three good trusts that I'm still invested in were posted way back in Jan 05, and JP Morgan Russian
I have my eye on a few other trusts which are related to resources due to the make up the countries concerned.
