  • I think my blinkies are breeding! Every time I try to spend them, I just end up with more - just checked my purse and I now have 5!
  • Does anyone know the actual name that Boots calls the lancome sharpener that some of you lovely ladies may have saved in your favourites ?

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I dont normally use Boots but ventured in today as I had got a blinkie so got some face wipes for a friend and got another blinkie so got a face powder also for a friend.

Got a half price elec toothbrush as Id cracked mine so needed new one so got another voucher so got Mum some cleanser.

Used the machine too as I dont go in often i dont use it - free eye test voucher but Ive got one for D&A so didnt use that.

Not much Id buy in there as I tend to buy online or at veggie/vegan festivals for cruelty free so dont use Boots own brands.

I dont think Id ever get my head round all these codes/vouchers/deals but sounds like lots of people are getting some great bargins:T

Manchester Market st didnt have any HE reduced today, the no7 clearance shelf has gone from upstairs with all the skincare bits and the sel's on all the tanning bits is full price again. Ive got 11 blinkies to get through so I hope something good turns up soon! I did manage to get an olay gwp though, I was a bit scared to just put that through so got wipes as well and 2 x 17 eyeliners on bogof but the 100pts wouldnt scan on the ss tills. SA had to come and take my receipt to add manually, I was a bit worried she might spot my illegitimate gwp but nothing was said :D

Oh, and slightly off topic but all this talk of big babies earlier in the thread reminded me. I got the huggies starter box (with wipes, nappies & socks) for £2.50 in Altrincham on Wed, used it along with mini mode bibs and lots of other bits I bought to make a nappy cake for my friend who had her baby last week 11 weeks early
He weighs 2lb 4 and is absolutely gorgeous and doing fantastic, Mum loved the nappy cake too.
    Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j
  • Hi all, I have been trying to print the £3 Huggies voucher from the Bounty website - but not sure what I have done! I downloaded the printer wear but it's now saying that my offer limit has been reached!? Please can I ask a huge favour - has anyone got a copy of the voucher - I'm not sure how it works - so, of course, that's if they send it to you by email? Thank you x

Anyway to keep it on topic, for once I actually can, usually my posts are just drivel  but I got talking to a SA in Chester the other day about the fact that all the shelving has been moved around so that even the staff don't know where everything is and she told me they are getting
    Self service tills !!
Wow...a whole new thing to learn for me. :rotfl: Will be interesting, apparently they are to be at the front of the store somewhere.

Will post again when they are finally there.

    ....ped

SS tills are up and running in Chester ( not been myself but have been told by my local fabby SAwavey2.gif )..but don't forget to go and claim your Blinkie after your transation if applicable.
