Probably messing up the theory here, but my GWP had a Pink Lemonade lippy and a voucher.
3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time

Folks just a bit of advice here please I have mentioned this a few times I am quite regularly in this establishment and of recent times the staff have become very wary of me and on a number of occassions a supervisor seems to always be very close to the tills when I go up to pay. If there is a bleep whatsoever they call for the supervisor. She will often attempt to argue that what I have selected doesn't qualify for the blinkies/wrinklies reductions etc however I normally win this debate. This really has started to stress me out. One part of me says continue and fight your corner while the other part of me says stay away and don't take the aggro. They really make me feel like I am stealing off them and this makes me feel small when a queue forms behind me at the counter. Anyone got any advice what I should do should I contact head office and make a complaint what are my rights as this has really started to annoy me ie their expressions when they see me their approach to me when I go to pay etc it really has gone beyond a joke and puts me in bad form when I go home. Any advice welcome TIA. Sorry about the rant just feel that I should do something about it now.
So sorry about your bad experiences what a shame. Suffering from pmt at mo so my advice would be "of with their heads":o

Normally i am a very calm and patient person, but she wont be back tll next week sorry:D.
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt. (A.C)
  • I think it's the last 3 digits of the code on plastic sleeve (not the barcode) that determines if voucher is inside or not.

If it were me, I'd just stop going to that store for a while. Is there another store near enough for you to take your business to?
If you can't do that, I would take the supervisors name the next time she gets into a debate with you. When you ask for her name, calmly tell her why you want it - that you are not happy with the service you receive from her, and you may decide to contact head office about it. If you keep calm, she may realise that she's the antagonist, and start behaving the way a customer service member of staff should.

If you do decide to contact head office, stress how much you spend in that store every week/month, and that this particular supervisor is making you reconsider shopping there, or at any Boots branch.

Not even MrB can afford to have customers leave in this current financial climate.

What is the code on the plastic wrapper around GWP please?
  • So far we've had mentioned

    Pink Lemonade
    Plum
Plum Beautiful (or are they the same one?)
    Sugar Plum
    Bare
    Dare Devil
    Golden Rose
    Raisin
    Shiny Conker

Makes a change that they're using so many different colours

They don't seem to be mixing them up in the boxes, though, as all 4 of mine have been Pink Lemonade, all got at Maidstone stores
i got a nude, brownish shade called "chic" with voucher..

Oh that is really awful of them, I really feel for you

I'm not sure what boots policies are about customer complaints in store, but if I were you I would write to the store manager and copy in the Boots Customer Care office - their address is on the Contact Us page of the website.

I'd tell them what your complaint is, why their attitude and actions are unjustified and ask them to suggest how they resolve this matter, for example would you feel comfortable going in and having a chat with the Store Manager?

They shouldn't get away with treating you like this
