Don't know if anyone's OH uses WILKINSON SWORD 3D DIAMOND razors cos the blades were down to 90p for 4, or 145p for 8, which I thought was a super bargain.
Searched high and low for the baby snowsuit, but none there. Had a look at Sainsbury's nothing there either. Will have to try Adams or Mamas and Papas. Thanks for the advice gang.
Still loads of NO7 items on the clearance shelf in Leeds Albion Street so if you have one of those blue's, you might as well use it. Ends this Sunday I think.
I know the NIVEA DNAGE TRI ACTION thing is reduced in Boots too at some stores, but I saw these at HOME BARGAINS for £1.50 which is quite cheap compared to Boots even with a winkie (or whatever you guys are calling it now).
Anyway, I've had enough of Bootsing for a while now. Can't believe I went in the same store 5 times today, 5 times! Errr. Rehab here I come.0 -
Now the interesting part, when I got home there were no 250 pt vouchers in either of my GWP's. So I called CC, and they told me that not every GWP has a voucher. It is a bit of a lucky dip if you get one.  :eek:0

Don't know if this has been mentioned as have not caught up with thread yet!
Elizabeth Arden counter has gone, on the clearance lots of EA lippies £3-£7, EA mousse foundations, EA compact quads £3(?) EA fragrances, Big Red box with black patent bag with loads of make up in (Old GWP ?) £19.99
still a fair bit of No.7 sun/skin care, balm balm (green) £1.47
All the reduced HE has gone (not me!)
That's all I can remember. hth
Watford Waterfield, no reduced HE (again, not me!)
The Roc renew microdermabrasion kit that someone mentioned yesterday as being reduced is still full price here
TS straightening balm £1.22 Toni and Guy copper hair £1.220 -
I know a few of you have mentioned price increases on No7 coinciding with new GWP. At weekend I’d priced up P&P Day cream as I had a 500pts voucher from mailing for P&P day, night or eye cream. Anyway it was £18.11 (£18.50 at old VAT rate), so I was well chuffed as it was just over £18 spend for new GWP and I still had a blinkie (and that was before I knew about the £5 off voucher from ACM!)
So went to get it today and it has gone up to £19.50!!! (still £18.11 on dot com). Still bought it though, used said vouchers so paid £9.50 and got 500pts (didn’t think I’d get away with using 250pts from GWP as well).
Got back to work and started thinking that £19.50 is a nicely rounded price in these post VAT-reduction days; I think Mr B is craftily hiking up his prices and not passing the VAT reduction on anymore. Same thing happened in Next, I bought a new season top for £25 in early January and there were signs on the till to say price tags now reflected the new VAT rate. You’re not telling me that in the space of a month Next have relabelled all their stock and that at the old rate of VAT they would have been charging me £25.54 for the same top, their prices are always in round pounds. Anyway sorry for going off topic.0 -
Was just off for tea, but then I remembered that people had been enquiring about whether anyone had ever won anything by filling in the surveys (Empathica) that we receive occasionally.
Well .... I overheard a SA saying that there'd been 2 x £1,000 winners and both were from the same store in Grimsby ...! So keep filling them in and good luck 'cos you never know (although I think the odds for Bootsers in Grimsby winning again might be a bit long) x

Evening all!:hello: Another day, another lovely day! Started off at Bond Street, and got 3 Bath Soak, 3 for 2, £8.30 each, less 10%, plus GWP, gave SA a voucher for 100 points when you buy Body Beautiful, returned a No 7 Base Coat which had gone grainy, refunded £6.60, and SA, a lovely lad, :A said "Do you have a No 7 voucher that expires on Sunday?" And I said "No, I haven't". He winked
and said "I have!", and produced one from the drawer, and put that through and said "That'll cost you £2.42 sweetheart!" And then gave me another Blinkie! I love him!!! Almost £25 of stuff for £2.42, plus a Blinkie!
Had a mooch round their Clearance section, but nothing to get excited about, and that was the same in Oxford St and TC Road. Had a 2 for 1 in GBK, and the lovely lad that works there, said "'allo love, I suppose you want your free chips today!" - what a reputation to have!
Then we went to Piccadilly, and a big thank you to whoever it was yesterday who told me where to look for Clearance. I got an Essential Moisture Night Cream, for £6.38, less 10%, less Blinkie, or Wrinklie, can't remember which, cost me 74p.
Got the bus to Marble Arch, where I bought a Dream Mascara with discount £10.62, and a P & P Lip Care, which with discount was £8.19, plus another GWP. Spotted two Herbal Essences, 400 ml, each 73p, one for me and one for BF, so got 100 points on that, less my £5 off P & P, less the 250 points from Wednesday's GWP. Cost me £14.54, gained 390 points, so in Boots logic £10.64 for goods that cost £24. Gained a Wrinklie-Winkie!
Went back to Bond Street and found a Time Delay Facial Moisturiser for £5.27 with discount, and a reduced nail varnish for 45p, gave Wrinklie, 72p to pay.
Then BF took some Bath Soaks to the SS till and was trying to use the £5 P&P voucher, which of course it would not allow, so another young lad took us to the main tills and said "This will help you" and gave her a Blinkie! So I said "You are soooo handsome, I bet you have to fight the girls off you, and I'm just as old and poor and feeble as she is", so he gave me one too! A Blinkie that is.
Then I got a Handbag Mirror, £5,28 with discount, used Blinkie, so that cost me 28p. :T :T Then we found a Quiet Corner, sat on the floor, and opened our GWPs (I had 2 and BF had one) and none of them had a points voucher.Just then, the first young lad came past, and said "What are you 2 doing sitting on the floor!" and I explained we were very disappointed cos we hadn't any points vouchers, and I couldn't understand why some GWPs had them, and others didn't.
"Don't you worry about that" he said "I've got something that'll make you very happy!!!""Ooo, you shouldn't lead us astray" I replied "but if you must, you must!" And he went off, and by the time we'd both got up, which takes a while, he came back with another Blinkie for each of us! So we got another Handbag Mirror each for 28p. :j :j :j
I've just had an add up, and I think I've got goods worth £86.20, plus 2 GWPs, which have cost me ................................. £14.52!!!!! :T :T
Nothing to pay for fares, and a half price lunch yet again! Going to put my stuff away, watch Corrie, and then have a lovely bath!!
Out with the family over the weekend, Grannifying Monday and Tuesday, so I will be Bootsing again on Wednesday. Have a great weekend everyone.

I'm just catching up on posts, so I don't know what else has been said about this, but I'm a bit flabbergasted! I got the GWP today and also had no voucher in mine, which I was pretty naffed off at, although I know other peeps had said they had also been diddled - there has never been a "lucky dip" for points coupons before, has there?? Seems very strange.....and totally unsatisfactory!
I got another GWP today, and no voucher in that, either, so that's 4 I have, none with any vouchers. I can't believe it's a 'lucky dip' or that anyone has pinched the vouchers from the packs (since they are kept right next to the No7 SA) so I think they've forgotten to put them in whole batches
Also, every one of mine so far has had the 'Pink Lemonade' lipstick in. I'd have thought I'd have at least one of the other colour by now0 -

Yep, same in Maidstone. We don't seem to get many of these bargain prices.
Also I asked in both branches about the 3 for 2 on R&M brushes, and they said it's online only. I'm sure someone else here said the offer was on in their branch0 -
