Mimi please could you let me know if Cancer Research let you donate the shampoo, I'm planning to buy a load tomorrow and would much rather donate it than keep it here gathering dust. Thanks0

Another enjoyable day Bootsing today:
Got the Loreal for Men Anti Fatigue Sets x 2 for £5.50
Method Handwash in the scent that people have been posting on here, sweet somethign or other and also a pink grapefruit one which is more up my street but mainly bought them because apart from only costing 80p I thought the bottles were really nice..they have a different shape now as there were some non reduced ones on the shelf.
1 reduced Radox...tried to put another full price one through as there were no more reduced ones on the shelp hoping it would take that off as part of the BOGOF but it didn't take anything off so got that voided off instead.
1 x P & P serum with free GWP but used Blinkie and ACM voucher so only cost £8.50. GWP bag looks absolutely fab filled with all my hand care bits for the charity quiz...although couldn't fit the handwash in but that was just a bulking gift...may have to post the piccies on here when all the hampers are done. Going to do this transaction again tomorrow for a second bag for the second handcare hamper (THanks to Sandra Scarlett, Vicksterarsenal and Stmidwife...I;m going to PM you after this)
4x Gillette shaving gels and 2 more golf sets as mentioned yesterday. N.B there go through free...I scanned them before I scanned the gel and no problems but the gel is such a bargain and great quality too but thought others might like to know.
1 solitary HE
More reduced razors and blades.
Some Charles Worthington hair stuff.
Paid about £13 in total as got some of it with points but a good shop. Pleased with my haul!!!Make £2012 in 2012 member #88

Sorry what is a hospice? Is it like a charity shop? Anyway, Cancer Research is my best bet. They have done so much for Daddy dearest and it's my way of saying thank you (even though all the HE was free!). Might as well. If not, I would only hurl them in the bin. Good thing is I've left most of the HE in my draw at work, so will just bob over to Cancer Research and give it to them. Will take some other ladies stuff I have collected in my room with me.
My firend who had cancer went to a hospice to be looked after for a while to take the pressure off her husband and family and to give her a chance for round the clock care. THey were absolutely lovely by all accounts. I don't know if the hospices are just for peope with cancer but they would often have volunteers go in to give manicures to the ladies to make them feel feminine again and things like that. I'm sure the HE would be really well appreciated by one of these hospices. But Cancer Research shops would be equally happy although not sure how mcuh money they would get for these bits.Make £2012 in 2012 member #88

A hospice is a place where terminally/ seriously ill people are cared for. Its a much nicer environment than a hospital, often run by charities such as marie curie hth0 -
Therefore, is it right to assume that if you purchase a No7 reduced item the till sees it as full price and allows the GWP to go through at a lower spend than £18?
Sorry to sound thick but still only just getting my head round the GWP glitches.Hi all, I am just a bootsie newbie, but I thought that I'd give this a shot!
I did some shopping at the Boots in Bromley today, and gained 2 No 7 GWP's from the following, also I didn't get a P & P voucher from ACM:
Shop #1
No 7 Massager (1/2 price £19.57) £9.78
No 7 Dark Spot Cream (Clearance) £2.00
Gave Blinkie for £5.00 off (wanted to see if it would take some off of the electrical this way - nope, so just got £2.00 off)
Total Spend: £9.78 + gained wrinklie
Shop #2
No 7 Eyelash curler (1/2 price £11.74) £5.87
No 7 Liplicious £9.00
Used blinkie for £5.00 off
Total Spend: £9.87 + gained wrinklie
Used wrinklie to buy 2 marked down T & G Model Me dry shampoos, at £1.17 each, tried to use 150 point T & G ACM voucher, but it beeped, so no go, but just had 34 p to pay, and also bought ROC product reduced to £5.00 for free.
Now the interesting part, when I got home there were no 250 pt vouchers in either of my GWP's. So I called CC, and they told me that not every GWP has a voucher. It is a bit of a lucky dip if you get one.
Hope that this info helps! We seek a world in which everyone with HIV/AIDS can live an abundant lifeWant to join us?0 -

Thanks CHARLEYPINK and NUNINGE. God knows where my local hospice is, so will take it to Cancer Research tomorrow. I'll do some research for my next stash and then take it to a hospice. Though would rather do a car boot sale or something and then donate the money to the Myeloma Fund as they have provided us with all the literature etc. Thanks for your help on this matter ladies. Appreciate it.0 -
I am pleased to report that I not only found 6 bottles of HE reduced to 73p today but also a trevor Sorbie straightening balm reduced to £1.22 and used ACM voucher for 150 points on TS. This was Tamworth but sorry there are none left now. Also got 4 bars of cadburys choc reduced to 15p each. So a good day's Bootsing. Thanks for telling me about the HE everyone.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

I have quite a few HE shampoos now, but no one at home wants them. Do you think it would be OK for me to take the whole lot to a charity shop like Cancer Research?
Or women's refuges are very pleased to get toiletries of any sort. And I gave some bits and bobs to a drop-in centre for homeless people.0 -
