I'm tearing my hair out....

I just don't know what to do.
GMCard are driving me to my wits end and I have been chasing them for my statements for OVER 3 MONTHS NOW.
I have used template letters, reminder letters, phone calls. And nothing. I've written to them 3 times, and called them 7 times.
I have had snotty customer services reps on the phone getting !!!!!! with me and saying I have to wait another 14 days because it's in the post. I've been told this now 4 times. And nothing.
I don't want to go to the blinking Ombudsman because I know it will take forever to get resolved but it's looking like I'm going to have to.
What on earth can I do???????????????

After reading all the different threads on this forum, it seems to me that different banks/credit card companies operate as they wish to. Both our banks have been quick to respond but not everyone seems to be so fortunate. If I were you get a third party involved. There just fobbing you off and not giving you the customer service you deserve. Threaten court action even if you haven't got statements yet.
Also phone trading standards. I found them most useful. It's time to get tough !
Hope this helps.0 -
If you have asked for the information under the data protection act and they are past the 40 days, then complain to the ICO, you can also threaten and undertake court action although this can work out costly, so I would go through the ICO first. Also, try and keep thinsg in writing, even chase ups, phone calls are easily discarded and theres no record of your efforts.LegalBeagles0

keep it simple... make a complaint to the ICO and copy to GM0

Who are the ICO - are they the ombudsman?0

Information Commissioner's Office:

And they are differnt to the Ombusman?
Am I right in thinking the difference is that the ICO handle complaints about access to data - or inability to access data, and the Ombudsman get involved in claims/complaints about finances?0
