how much to completely rewire a smallish 3 bed house?

I'd love to know if anyone could give me a rough ballpark figure.

Thanks!

Don't know anything at all about electrics, but we paid £1800 for a quite large 4 bed detached house, so I would guess about £1000. This probably depends where in the UK you are.
  • Don't forget the cost of re decorating after the electrition has gone, the disruption can be total.I think you need some sort of certification for the work
to prove it has been done by a proffessional.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    South East - £6800 inc vat for a 4 bed + garage.
We got quotes from electricians who could sign off their own work and two came out at about the same as we paid and the third was about £1000 more. Plastering and redecoration afterwards came out at £1500.
  • wow - there's quite a variation between the North East and the South East! £1800 - £6800! Unfortunately, we are in the South East....
