Hi I had an E mail from B&Q seems at the moment you can have your cavity wall insulated for a fixed £198 is this a good deal? Same price for the Loft though not sure to what depth, is this a good deal? all include proffesional installation.

Doing the loft yourself is very easy, I helped a friend to do his loft using rolls of insulation from B&Q for £40 - took the two of us a couple of hours to do.
If you go through your energy supplier, you'll probably get the cavity walls done for about £150 (and it'll probably even be the same local firm that B&Q would sub-contract out to that do the work!).0 -
I'm not 100% up to speed on this but know it is British Gas who the deal is with.

I was also looking at the B&Q offer and comparing it with going direct to British Gas. B&Q are £198 and British Gas are £225. If you order from B&Q via Quidco.com you will get another £12 cashback, bringing the B&Q price down to £186. Think I am going with that option.0
