New BG offer.
hey there people!
in the process of following lots of advice on this site in order to get my finances back on track.
A little while ago i capped my energy supply with EON as recommended switching from BG.
i had a call from BG yesterday offering me a deal whereby they will give me a 6% reduction on my supply if i went with them. they were very confident they would be cheaper than all competition. the dude said that even if there were further cuts to tariifs then the deal they were offering would still track at 6% under that tariff! So if i've got it right, with the 10% cut today/yesterday........they are offering me a 16% reduction. which sounds pretty good right?
i said yes knowing i could cancel if on receipt of the paperwork, if it wasn't as good as it sounded on the phone.
anyone else get a call from BG?

This offer is legit. It is seperate from duel fuel and DD discounts. You will get it all confirmed in writing.0 -

Don't have a link i'm afraid. it was them that phoned me sorry.0 -

It is a genuine offer, a 6% discount over the standard tariff rate. Quite a good offer in my opinion. This isnt something you can ask for or sign up for, but something that will be offered to high value customers that the company want to get back. You will get the usual benefits on top of this, I.E duel fuel, DD discounts.Sunny in Southampton.0
