Yes, but if the claim is successful, they you sue the claimant. So I have to pay to question a judgement against me in a case I knew nothing about?
Click here for Martins (MSE) advice on who to contact with Debt Issues - YOU HAVE NO REASON TO USE A FEE PAYING DEBT MANAGEMENT COMPANY- THEY CANNOT DO ANYMORE FOR YOU THAN THOSE LISTED IN MY LINK ABOVE.
All information given by myself is offered informally and without prejudice - if in doubt seek help from a qualified and insured professional0 -
You're assuming my son is in the wrong. I can assure you he isn't and I would have helped him defend himself IF he had had a chance to do so. That is my point. How can you defend an action when you're not aware of it?

Before a creditor goes through the actions of getting a CCJ (which isn't free to the creditor) a debt would usually go through failing to pay and defaulting on the debt before they will invest the time and money in obtaining a CCJ against a debtor.
If he has no defaulted debts then does the judgement state what this CCJ is actually for?DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0
